Inspired by the iconic flowers of our beloved Pohutukawa trees, these playful fan-shaped earrings are handcrafted from up-cycled glass and sandblasted with a stylised design. Light and easy to wear, they’re perfect for brightening up your day with a touch of native charm.

The trees have a prominent place in Maori mythology, where the red flowers represent the blood of Tawhaki, a spirit ancestor who fell and died showing people the way from earth to heaven. Pohutukawa occur naturally in the upper half of the North Island, but can be found growing throughout the whole country.
